Der Wuselhain
Interactive Installation

Der Wuselhain is a participative installation in which visitors are invited to bring their own creations into a magical forest.

This interactive installation invites the audience to become co-creators. By scanning a QR code on site, visitors are guided to a character creator. There, they design their own unique character from a range of accessories, colors, and dance styles, which influence the design, lighting, music, and environment.

Once submitted, each spirit has its moment in the spotlight, performing a personalized dance and showcasing its design before wandering off into the background.

A core concept was to grant the audience co-ownership of the outcome, which is why I describe Der Wuselhain as participatory art.
